Damien Hirst: sympathie for the death

Choquant, polémique et unique dans son genre, Damien Hirst expose ses œuvres à la Tate Modern de Londres dans le cadre du "London 2012 Festival".

Une rétrospective mortelle qui réunit pour la première fois, plus de soixante-dix œuvres de l'artiste dont "The physical impossibility of death in the mind of someone living", "Mother and Child divided", "A thousand years 1990" et le célèbre crâne en diamant "For the love of God", entre autres.

Hirst, figure incontournable de la Young British Artists, nous présente sa Natural History, il nous met face à un mélange étrange entre la vie et la mort, des insectes et autres spécimens en décomposition deviennent ainsi un sujet de réflexion.

Marquante et effrayante, l'exposition est à la hauteur de son auteur. Organisée au Royaume Uni par la Tate Modern et la Quatar Museums Authority, c'est le point culminant de "L'Olympiade culturelle".

Rendez-vous à Londres du 4 avril au 9 septembre.

Bold, vibrant prints were all over the runways for the spring/summer 2012 season. From huge floral print sprouts to futuristic, pixelated renditions, prints are in full bloom from spring through summer.

Diane Von Furstenberg's spring/summer 2012 collection featured prints that ran the gamut from geometric patterns to floral buds and leaves. Von Furstenberg's collection featured cut-out floral lace tops to petals setting bloom on dresses. Stand out brights were layered with black and white prints. Throughout the collection, smaller prints played off large-format florals. The collection proved both whimsical and wearable.
